Let me give you some guidelines for choosing your ideal weight and a weight-change program created by Dr. Laurence Morehouse, a small task, physiologist whose credentials include Asked by Encyclopedia Britannica to write their entries Movement and fitness, and that the man who developed the machine, nutrition, exercise and programs offered by the two astronauts on Earth and to ensure fitness and muscle tone in space.

1. Choose a weight that you know that you can achieve.

2. Choose a weight you feel you could quite comfortably maintain.

3. Choose a weight at which you will be pretty slim, not slim.

Now here your daily routine. You need a pen, some graph paper and a set of scales. The goal of this program is to lose or gain no more than a pound per week. The pace will help ensure that your body is not from the Whack. If you want to win or lose fifteen pounds, the program should fifteen weeks! :

1. Do not start your program until Friday. For the next few days, eat what you want!

(This "brings" My metabolism, and actually makes it easier and less disruptive to change your diet later.)

2. On Friday, weigh yourself, in the morning, naked! This is your starting point weight.

3. Write this number on the upper left corner of your paper. Count on seven lines over and two rows up or down (depending on whether your weight to go up or down!), And write the next number. Carry on until you reach your ideal weight (you may need more paper :-)!

Example: If you started at 150, your next number would be 151 or 149th

4. Number of days in the bottom, starting with number one. A vertical line = one day.

5. Draw a line connecting the numbers. This is your ideal weight chart change.

6. Every day, weigh yourself in the morning, naked. Graph your weight on the chart.

7. If your weight is on the line, take it easy on the cheese sauce today. No to say that dessert. An additional 5 (not 15!) Minutes on the bike. If it below the line, eat you up!

8. Enjoy! Remember, your program varies from day to day.

On opposite ends of the tonal scale, black and white, are a powerful combination. If the two ends of the scale are brought together until it is a visual rocker that both satisfying and fascinating: maximum visual contrast. The close juxtaposition of colors works particularly striking in geometric patterns and even throws in the center of the line of furniture and accessories. Although black and white is often associated with serious, hard edges, interiors, you will find it fits in many situations. black with white with black

A black-and-white scheme is open to infinite interpretations, especially in the proportions used. On the one hand, you can favor the lightness of a white room with dashes of black accents, on the other hand, you can focus on the drama of a largely black room with white spots, not to mention the many more balanced combinations in between . During

There are many whites broken out only in white ivory by the rich creams and OATMEAL. Charcoal Gray, gunmetal, and dark-stained wood provide a lot of blackish tones. A number of these colors, combined with an assortment of textures, provides a room retains warmth and character without compromising the simplicity of the amazing effect.

Graphic backgrounds

There are many ways to the stage for a symphony in black and white, next to a can of white latex and a can of black gloss. Subtle white-on-white striped paper, graphic fine paper squares, or sponged effect, almost all white wallpapers give the right to pre-cool kind of harmony. You can use a completely different tack and go for a clearer statement with jazzy controls, powerful black and white stripes, or scribbly designs.

on the floor, the elegance of a width of shiny black and white marble is an extravagance, but it is easy to create a similar effect by alternating cheaper vinyl, linoleum, tile or ceramic. You can also paint bare planks with a black-and-white checkerboard pattern. These effects would be just the thing for a hallway, kitchen or bathroom.

How to Create Your Own Landscape

After reading this article, you should create a better understanding of how to achieve a great looking landscape at the lowest possible price. If you need further clarification, it would be wise to hunting in the countryside books section of your local bookstore or library.

steps in landscaping

The most important thing to remember with landscape design is harmony. This harmony is true for the actual process of creating the landscape as well - if you do not follow the steps correctly, you will be stressed at the end, and the design will not be what you wanted.

, see the following table for the correct sequence of events in the planning and construction of your landscape.

Table1: Landscaping Sequence

Step 1 - Installation of irrigation and drainage facilities.

Step 2 - construction of terraces, walls, fences, roads and other permanent fixtures.

Step 3 - The planting of the desired trees, shrubs and other plants.

Step 4 - Create a lawn.

prepare a landscape plan

It is crucial to a successful landscape that is a good plan or design sheet. This plan can significantly reduce your workload, the best results for your efforts. The plan should be a careful measurement of the plot, according to a scaled plan is created.

plotting a scale diagram

The first step in this process is to measure your yard or property. If you are unsure how to do this, it is perhaps possible to create a map of your property deed from your builder or county. These maps are drawn to scale and they can easily be converted, if necessary. If you have not achieved, and you have to create your own using a scale and graph paper. In this case, you are asked to measure the extent of your property and notes, borders and distances from home to these limits. Remember to important elements such as driveways and fences. Using a scale, note these on the graph paper and draw your plan with the help of the scale. A scale of 1 inch = 10 feet is a good measure. Make sure to note all existing trees or shrubs that you want to retain in the graphics as well.

website analysis

Once you have worked out the scale and know what is already on the site, you need to find out what can be and what will have to go. Consider the following steps:

* In relation to the existing trees and shrubs, find out what must be kept and those that can be removed for additional space.

* Remember the climatic conditions in your area such as wind, snow, rain, etc. This will be of assistance in relation to the placement of walls, fences and sheds as protection.

* Look at how you want the yard can be used. They also want a playground for the children, or an entertainment area? Where do you want your garden to be?

* Work out a rough estimate of your budget. What can you allocate in terms of time and money for ongoing maintenance?

* Are you a structure like a waterfall or fountain? You want a pool? Are these inclusions future?

* Do you intend to use brick, flagstone or gravel, etc. for paths or driveways?

* How much lawn do you need? What is it used?

The answers to these questions are also helpful in preparing what plants and other landscaping materials you want, in the design and the decision on a theme or style for the garden.

drawing of a bubble chart

This is a rough sketch showing the location and layout of individual elements, through the use of bubbles, what the chart his name. You can use these graphics, using transparent paper on the scale graphics to ensure that it contains plant growth.

This "bubble" graphic should include all elements of landscape design, from where the plants will be based on the size and direction of the paths, placement of outdoor structures, irrigation systems, and the list goes on. It is a good idea to take a walk through the yard, taking note of where the items are and sketching them in as you go.

planning an irrigation system

You can not be a complete landscaping design without the addition of an irrigation system. You can choose either a sprinkler or drip irrigation system, but if you consider the installation of the system itself, do your homework. If you believe that this is too difficult a task for you, consult an expert to ensure that you have a copy of the plans with you.

A Traipse Through the Tulips

bulbs can be your garden is not just a plot of dirt and stones decorated with a few scraggly plants not only an absolute scene, with splashes of bright colors. Lamps offer a good investment in terms of their longevity and durability. Your garden will benefit from a variety of flower color, length of bloom time, and the heights and shapes of bulbs. Autumn is the ideal time to plant spring-robust bulbs, most bulbs can be planted until the soil is frozen.

Most bulbs are perennials, over a period of growth and flowering, dying back to the ground before resting at the end of each growing season. Late spring or early summer Herald end of the season for spring-flowering bulbs. However, these bulbs begin to grow again in the fall and flower the next season.

tulips and other spring-flowering bulbs such as snowdrops, crocuses, daffodils, hyacinths and require a stretch of cold weather in winter, their growth cycles to a running start. This process allows the cooling of the bulbs to bloom in early spring. They can be planted until the first frost.

Make careful plans on paper before planting your bulbs. If you sketch your plan on graph paper, it will help you to calculate the correct number of bulbs to buy. Keeping an objection? Timetable? help from your garden store jar in your case, in the future, you want to mix in annuals or perennials, where your bulbs are dormant. Tulips bloom everywhere, especially in full sun, from very early spring until late spring /early summer.

May your tulips bloom in an explosion of colors, or you can choose whether to the color palette to only one or two. Colors give the viewer the impression of warmth or coolness; shades of blue and violet the impression of coolness, while warm colors are shades of red, yellow and orange. The human eye perceives warm colors such as forward, while cool colors into the background. To create the illusion of your yard is bigger than it actually is a planting of cool-colored flowers on the back of the yard, but if you want the illusion of a smaller and more intimate garden, plant warm-colored flowers in the back the plot back. Remember, warm colors create a dramatic effect, no matter where planted. Whatever color you decide to use any type of plant flower in groups of at least three to twelve plants. A specific color, that here and another there and still one third elsewhere, will have the effect you want to create. Keep the color urban groups together for the best effect.

When planting tulips or daffodils, use at least twelve light bulbs a range of in a grouping. The more light bulbs of a variety and color, the stronger the visual impact will be. However, when the planting of smaller spring bulbs, such as snow crocus, it takes at least fifty or more onions to make a statement. Small bulbs should be seen in close proximity to the planting of more effective, mixing in the early flowers such as pansies give visual contrast to a plantation with only tulips.

If you prefer a more casual look to your garden, think about naturalizing your tulip bulbs. Naturalizing May assume the guise of devil-May-care or planting, planting with a very carefully calculated to create the illusion that Mother Nature has decided to take a lamp or other flowering plant, in a random action, like radio wild flower seeds in a Meadow. I think this style of planting could be considered a variation of Chaos Theory.

The process of naturalizing is that the man imitation of nature with bulb plantings. Onions, if in a natural state, do not grow in ordinary, careful lines, but they present themselves in irregular clumps scattered throughout the countryside.

One advantage is that naturalizing bulbs, it need very little care. At the end of the cycle flowering tulip, either allow the foliage to die away on its on, so that the plants enough time to revitalize their lights in anticipation of bloom in the next season, or you can remove the dead leaves by hand. An important point to remember is that if you have naturalized bulbs in your lawn, the foliage should not be mowed over until it dies or course, the lamps themselves will sooner or later die out.

Autumn is the perfect time to plant hardy tulips. Tulips need plenty of water, plus good drainage. The harsh underground in the planting area must be broken, so there is no standing water interfering with the health of tulips. After breaking the ground, you need to enter a layer of drainage material such as loose gravel, crushed rock, ash or sieved (Some gardeners use barbecue briquettes smashed by a hammer) below the soil surface.

When planting spring bulbs, a general rule of thumb is to plant the bulb two to three times as deep as the bulb itself is large, most large bulbs like tulips should be planted about six inches deep, while smaller bulbs three to environment four centimeters deep. Measure the depth of planting the surface of the soil on the shoulder of the bulb. To measure the distance between plants, Mark from the middle of a factory in the middle of the next.

There are two basic methods of planting bulbs. One way is to dig individual holes for each lamp with a garden trowel or a specialized hole-cutting tool known as a bulb pot (or Dibble). Dig a hole several inches deeper than those called for planting depth, fill the hole to base level with plant food specifically for bulbs. After your lamp in the hole, cover it with loose soil. Using your hands, gently form the soil around each plant to eliminate air pockets.

now for the question that plagued mankind ... Which end of the tulip bulb is UP? Tulips have pointed ends, the top positions. Some of the smaller bulbs, such as Poppy Anemones can be planted in any direction. These small bulbs send shoots to find their own path through the earth from the sun.

Once planted, tulip bulbs must be serious Gießkanne. Not only that the water settle the soil in the planting hole bed, but also as water also needed to moisture for the roots activity. It is of crucial importance for bulbs planted in the fall to root against the cold, but continues in the prevention of over-watering, is the perfect setting for light red.

your tulips should be sufficient fluid intake of an average spring conditions. But if you have a stretch of unusually hot and dry weather, a weekly deep soaking will be bigger and longer lasting blooms. Soak water with a hose, so that the flowers are not too wet.

aesthetically, tulip foliage remains long after the bloom is dead. As unattractive as it is, you do not mow the foliage until it is yellow and dies back naturally, a process that may take several weeks. The plant needs the green leaves for photosynthesis, or the production of food, which is in the bulb for the next growing season. When the foliage is removed too early, the plant will no longer be in a position to meet the nutrient reserves needed for future growth.

The botanical name for the tulip is of the view that were obtained from the Persian (Iranian) toliban word or turban, said the inverted flower was following the example of such head wear. Tulips are members of the family and Lily grow wild in the vast region from Asia Minor through Siberia to China. Tulips are a good lamp for the beginning gardener, since it extremely easy to grow. Tulips are happiest in full sun and should be planted about 6? deep. Within a few months ago, will Tulips bejewel your garden into a fireworks display of colors.

A Tip About Cut tulips:

For lasting tulip arrangements, cut the stems diagonally. Newspaper wrap tightly around the whole flower (head and stem cells) and then the stem in water overnight. The next step is to ensure the newspaper and Recut the stems. The tulips are now ready to participate in a vase filled with water and plant food. Keep the arrangement out of direct sun and drafts, adding water as needed. The flowers should last 7 to 10 days.
